Hlavním tématem bude zpravidla představení vítězných decků velkých turnajů. A občas by se mohlo objevit něco jako rozbor zajímavých karet z nadcházející edice (což se děje právě teď) a další zajímavosti.

Výsledky zajímavých turnajů

1. SCG Open Columbus – Standard

První letošní velká dvojka proběhla v rámci tradiční víkendové americké série SCG Open, tentokráte v Colombusu. Turnaje se zúčastnilo na poměry této série úctyhodných 695 hráčů!
Ve finále proti sobě bojovali Kevin Brumley s monoredem a Andrew Shrout s Naya Blue, což byla určitě nejzajímavější novinka na tomhle turnaji (Naya rampa splashující modrou pro Detention Sphere, Sphinx‘s Revelation a další karty v sidu), nicméně Andrew 2:0 prohrál.

2. SCG Open Columbus – Legacy

Účast na legacy open bývá zpravidla nižší, než na standard open, ale i tak tu bylo krásných 325 hráčů. Turnaj trochu překvapivě vyhráli Elfové s novou vychytávkou v podobě Natural Orderu pro Craterhoof Behemotha a s Progenitem v sidu.

Poraženým deckem ve finále bylo v poslední době tolik oblíbené BUG (Deathrite Shaman a Abrupt Decay jsou na legacy neskutečně silné karty), tentokráte verze hrající minikombo Shardless Agent + Ancestral Vision.

Na dalších místech skončil Show & Tell hrající Omniscienci a tradiční verze reanimátoru. Z dalších decků bych Vám ještě rád ukázal dva trošku opomíjené kombodecky a to MUD (artefaktový deck zabíjející kombem Kuldotha Forgemaster + Blightsteel Collosus) a Grindstone (kombo Painter’s Servant a Grindstone), které skončily na devátém, potažmo dvanáctém místě.

3. GP Denver – Legacy

Největším turnajem uplynulého týdne bylo jasně GP Denver, ve formátu legacy, kde se sešla celá americká špička. Turnaje se zúčastnilo přesně 700 hráčů. Největším překvapením turnaje byl bezpochyby Jund, který se dostal dvakrát do top8. Na druhou stranu je to vlastně pochopitelné, má spoustu zabíjení, oproti BUGu má Bloodbraid Elfa a Bolt a RUG se zase těžko dostává přes Lilianu (a Bloodbraida). Kombodecky zase potrápí dohromady až 12 kusů discardu v základu.

Turnaj ovšem nakonec Jund nevyhrál, jelikož jako výborný „jundkiller“ se ukázal Indonézan Vidianto Wijaya s Esper Stonebladem, který nejprve porazil Joshuu Ravitze a ve finále si smlsnul na Patu Coxovi.

4. PTQ Mnichov – Modern

V květnuse v americkém San Diegu uspořádá Pro Tour, na který se v současné době koná spoustu kvalifikací, nejčastěji ve formátu modern. Jedna z nich se minulý týden konala v německém Mnichově a vydala se tam i početná česká výprava.

Na turnaji bylo nakonec 110 hráčů a Čechům se dařilo – do top8 se dostali Tomáš Vaněk s pětibarevným Zoem a Pavel Češka s Melirou. Po dvojitém matchlossu v semifinále nakonec turnaj vyhrál domácí Jonas Köstler s Kiki-Jiki Podem.
