Ne.

Je třeba rozlišovat pojmy "loss of life" a "damage". Damage lze dát bytosti, planeswalkerovi nebo hráči. Výsledkem takového damage je zranění u bytostí nebo ubrání loyalty counterů u planeswalkerů či ztráta životů u hráče.

"Loss of life" lze provést pouze hráči (pouze hráč má životy).

119.3. Damage may have one or more of the following results, depending on whether the recipient of the damage is a player or permanent, the characteristics of the damage’s source, and the characteristics of the damage’s recipient (if it’s a permanent).

119.3a Damage dealt to a player by a source without infect causes that player to lose that much life.

119.3b Damage dealt to a player by a source with infect causes that player to get that many poison counters.

119.3c Damage dealt to a planeswalker causes that many loyalty counters to be removed from that planeswalker.

119.3d Damage dealt to a creature by a source with wither and/or infect causes that many -1/-1 counters to be put on that creature.

119.3e Damage dealt to a creature by a source with neither wither nor infect causes that much damage to be marked on that creature.

119.3f Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that source’s controller to gain that much life, in addition to the damage’s other results.

 

306.7. If noncombat damage would be dealt to a player by a source controlled by an opponent, that opponent may have that source deal that damage to a planeswalker the first player controls instead. This is a redirection effect (see rule 614.9) and is subject to the normal rules for ordering replacement effects (see rule 616). The opponent chooses whether to redirect the damage as the redirection effect is applied.

Ještě mně napadl jeden dotaz, který se spíš než k shamanovi váže k pravidlu 306.7.
Když zahraju lighting bolt (3dmg to target player or creature) do hráče, tak se mohu rozhodnout dát ty dmg do planeswalkera. Tady by mně spíš zajímalo jestli musím přesměrovat všechny 3 dmg nebo do walkera můžu poslat i míň dmg? (kdyby byli potřeba jen 2 mohu se rozhodnout dát ten 1 dmg do hráče)?

Musíš přesměrovat všechno nebo nic.

Ahoj Flambergu. Mám dotaz na fungování Shamana s Umbral Mantle - můžu ho untapovat, i když ve hřbitově není žádná země, instant, sorcery či creature respektive aniž bych něco z toho musel odstranit? Jako vždy díky za odpověď....

Nejsem sice Flamberg ale podle mě nemůžeš tapovat Shamana jen tak bez toho exilu-netvrdím že to tak je, ale za mě bych to tak vyhodnotil.

Já si naopak myslím, že by to mělo jít - cena je uvedena vždy před dvojtečkou a efekt za ní. Dle Tvé logiky by nešla hrát fetchka, kdybys neměl v balíčku danou zemi....

U Šamanových schopností je důležité, že všechny cílí ("target"). Tedy pro každou potřebuješ ve chvíli aktivace zvolit cíl. A pokud ve hřbitovech žádný cíl není (land, instant, sorcery nebo creature) nemůžeš schopnost vůbec aktivovat.

Takže Šamana untapovat s Umbral Mantle můžeš, ale tapovat ho do jeho schopnosti ne.

Rozdíl oproti fetch landu je v tom, že ten právě na nic necílí.
 

Tak to je pro mne špatný, protože u Umbral Mantle je ten untap jako cena....

Přesně tak, Umbral Mantle se se Shamanem kombí, jen dokud máš pro Shamana náboje ve hřbitovech. Jediné, co teoreticky můžeš, je stackovat Shamanovy aktivace nad sebe (a mezitím ho vždy odtapnout přes Mantle) a cílit na stejnou kartu. Ale stejně, jakmile ty starší aktivace ztratí svůj cíl (tím, že ho exilneš), tak "vyšumí" a nic neudělají.
